We've Moved (again)

Moving is not much fun! Fortunately, our new house is only 3 miles away from our last house. This move was complicated, however, by the fact that at the very last moment we decided to postpone moving to change the flooring. A week later, once the new stained concrete floors were done, we had to spend hours furiously cleaning off the dust left EVERYWHERE from the concrete staining process. We're very happy with our new house. It's the oldest house we've ever lived in and we have a lot of little (and a few big) projects on our to-do list. Hopefully it will be a long time until we move again.

Recently Violet has shown interest in identifying emotions. Here are her surprised, mad, and sad faces.

Independence Day 2008

Violet's Grammy and Poppy were here in town visiting us over the Fourth of July. We're always so glad to see them.
